Two aspects of child custody must be determined; Legal Custody and Physical Custody. Legal custody focuses on decisions regarding education and healthcare. How Are Property & Debts Divided?
Debts can labeled as "community debts" or "separate debts". Community debt generally will be split 50/50 and each spouse will be responsible for separate debt. Property & Debt Division Information.

How is Child Support Calculated?

Do I Need to Hire A Divorce Attorney?
It is recommended to consult an attorney if spouses cannot agree on certain issues, if there are children involved, if you jointly own property, or need to separate debts.

What Happens During Divorce Consultation?
A consultation is your opportunity to speak with an attorney and to receive legal recommendations regarding your specific situation. If you are outside of Las Vegas, Nevada our office can schedule a consultation by telephone. Rocheleau Law charges a nominal fee of $125 for a consultation and if our firm is retained the consultation is waived.
