Stacy Rocheleau, Family Law

With extensive experience in all aspects of divorce, family law,  accident, injury and collection law. Stacy has aggressively and successfully represented numerous clients. Known for her tenacious and unswerving commitment to obtaining the best possible outcome for her clients.

Stacy M. Rocheleau graduated from Whittier College in Los Angeles in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. She then received her Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of San Diego Law School in 1996. After receiving her law degree, Stacy began as an associate attorney practicing in the fields of business law and family law for a local Las Vegas firm.

Stacy Rocheleau is a member of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Commercial Law League of America, and having been admitted and qualified to practice before the Nevada District Court, U.S. District Court and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Clark County Bar Association, the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys, National Association of Women Business Owners and named a “Who’s Who” by In Business in 2006.

Stacy is also a member of The Women's Leadership Council of the United Way of Southern Nevada which was created more than a year ago to help improve lives through education, health care and financial stability. The Council is a vehicle to encourage philanthropy, to inspire other women leaders to join in creating lasting change in our community and to raise money to feed the hungry and provide shelter to the homeless.


Peter James, Family Law Lawyer

Peter James, Esq.

Peter has experience representing individuals in all stages of family law litigation, criminal law defense, and personal injury representation. He has handled a wide range of legal matters and drafted numerous appeals, writs and post conviction petitions with the Nevada Supreme Court.

Peter James grew up in Ventura County, California. Moving to Las Vegas in 1989 he earned his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and recieved his Juris Doctorate degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Prior to joining the Rocheleau Law Group Peter worked for Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen and Sanders, and Ciciliano & Associates law firm litigating divorce, family law, criminal defense, DUI, accident and personal injury cases. He is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada, is admitted to practice before all District Courts in the State of Nevada, the U.S. Federal District Court, as well as the 9th Circuit of Appeals.


Margaret Pickard, Divorce Lawyer

Keith Pickard, Esq.

Keith Pickard bridges the gap between his divorce and real estate practices. He is a divorce attorney, commercial real estate broker, and property manager, helping clients with their real property needs both in and out of divorce actions. Keith has handled a variety of matters including land transactions, land use planning, residential, commercial and recreational facility design development, and common-interest community planning. Keith brings these skills to our office where he assists in both divorce proceedings and in their often related real property aspects. Keith has lived and worked in several western states, including Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Texas, and has participated in projects reaching values of nearly a billion dollars.

Keith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he was Business Editor for the Nevada Law Journal and took First Place in the 11th Annual Clark County Moot Court Competition. Keith was also President of the Real Estate Law Society and held numerous dean’s list and other awards while at Boyd. Keith is licensed to practice law in Nevada.

Margaret Pickard, Divorce Lawyer


Margaret Pickard, Esq.

Margaret Pickard is an attorney, author, and educator, specializing in family mediation and high conflict custody cases.  She currently serves as a Special Master/Parent Coordinator and Family Law Mediator for the Las Vegas Family Courts. Margaret is known in the Las Vegas community for her weekly UNLV Cooperative Parenting seminars for Family Court litigants, as well as her continuing legal education courses on high conflict custody for Nevada Family Court judges.

She teaches at universities across the country, including Duke University; University of Nevada, Las Vegas; University of Montana; UCDavis; and BYU.  Margaret graduated magna cum laude from UCDavis, with her B.A. in Sociology (1987) and her J.D. (1990).  Margaret is licensed to practice law in Nevada, California, and Montana.
